Start when the tender leaves the yacht
Tap the Home Vessel card to begin a trip. TenderTo uses the saved vessel position as the departure and return reference, then records location, track, speed, and distance during the outing.
Keep shore time in context
A cruising dinghy trip often includes a dock, a walk to a restaurant or store, and a return to the same tender. TenderTo keeps that sequence in one trip rather than turning each stop into a disconnected record. Water distance and ashore walking can be presented separately while the entire outing remains together.
Review where the tender has gone
Trip history provides the route and useful summaries such as distance and average speed. Individual trips can be reviewed on the same layered map style used by the navigation dashboard, and unwanted test trips can be deleted.
Your track remains useful on the return
The current track is not only a diary. If darkness, rain, or an unfamiliar shoreline makes the return harder, the recorded path helps the crew retrace the outward route toward the yacht.
Trip records are useful memories and planning references, but they are not a substitute for a proper voyage plan, lookout, lights, charts, or emergency equipment.
